As long as I have the determination to realize my dream, any city could be the place where it will come true. But if I had to pick a city, I would choose Vancouver because my family is here, and being with them is what matters to me the most.

The most memorable moment

My friends and I made videos together back in the university, including micro movies, music videos, and a promotional video for The Voice of University of Waterloo. The most memorable moment would be watching our first self-produced video after months of filming, editing, and hard work.

My mother will always be my role model. Not only because I love her, but also I admire the way she embraces life and how she faces every adversity with the utmost serenity and grace.

Favourite Miss Chinese Vancouver and why?

Jennifer Coosemans from 2015 is my favourite Miss Chinese Vancouver, because she is absolutely gorgeous in every aspect.

What is the most beautiful object or incident in the world?

Parents’ wrinkles, lover’s eyes, and a child’s smiling face.

Which body parts are you most satisfied with?

My lips.

Do you have any expectations towards the Pageant?

I hope through this Pageant, I could explore my potentials and become more mature in all aspects. More importantly, I wish I could make some great friends so we can create amazing memories together through doing something meaningful.

If you were to ask the MC a question at the Final, what would you ask?

As you may know, we have been dieting for three months for the Pageant. I’m even beginning to have a hard time moving my eyes away from food. When this is all over, I am planning on going out for a feast. Which restaurants would you recommend?

What areas do you want to better yourself?

I would like to become more confident and more mature. In addition, I’d also like to speak better Cantonese.

I joined the Pageant because it is a chance for me to broaden my horizons and meet some interesting people.

Why do you think you will excel at this Pageant and be crowned Miss Chinese Vancouver?

I think my witty personality and captivating onstage presence will help me to gain the approval of the judges.

As Miss Chinese Vancouver, I would contribute to the society through raising awareness on mental health and the potential impact of mental illness.
