The most memorable moment

It would be the swimming competition that I participated, in which I accomplished my goal by completing the 3.5km race in less than 50 minutes. This achievement tells me that hard work, dedication and never give up will be the best reward.

Who is your female role model and why?

My mother. She is a strong and dedicated woman who spent her years working in a business that she never had any experience and was able to provide for her family in a physical and mental way.

Favourite Miss Chinese Vancouver and why?

Eliza Sam. Her dedication towards organizations such as Canadian Cancer Society and S.U.C.C.E.S.S is inspirational. She is a great role model to everyone.

Rainbow is the most beautiful thing in the world since the colors and brightness bring happiness to the world.

I expect it to be a learning curve with unexpected things I will learn, and improve myself in every way.

Reasons for joining the Pageant

I wanted to participate in the Pageant since I was a little kid and I thought this would be a great learning curve which you can't find anywhere else.

Why do you think you will excel at this Pageant and be crowned Miss Chinese Vancouver?

I am an ambitious person who loves to take on new challenges yet being well-organized and self-disciplined. To excel at this Pageant, I will set my goal first, make myself well-prepared, and follow my plan gradually; same as how I earned my black belt in karate.

If you won this contest, how, as Miss Chinese Vancouver, would you contribute to the society and the world?

I would encourage children and teenager to conquer their own empowerment. Through this process they would become stronger and develop confident. Also, I would let them know that they can do anything they dream and want.
